Taiteilijaresidenssi
AIR Frosterus on kansainvälinen taiteilijaresidenssi, joka sijaitsee Kärsämäen vanhassa pappilassa Pyhäjoen törmällä. Ammattitaiteilijat ympäri maailman vierailevat luonamme yhdestä kuuteen kuukauden mittaisilla jaksoilla. Residenssissä on kerrallaan neljä taiteilijaa tai taiteilijaparia, jotka edustavat taiteen eri aloja kirjallisuudesta kuvataiteeseen. Vanhan Pappilan rauhassa he syventyvät työskentelyyn ja inspiroituvat ympäröivästä luonnosta. Paikallisille he tuottavat taideprojekteja, työpajoja ja näyttelyitä. Artist residency
AIR Frosterus is an international artists residency that is located in the old vicarage of Kärsämäki by the river Pyhäjoki. Professional artists from around the world come and stay with us for one to six month residency periods. At once we host four artists or artist couples from different fields of art. They come to the peace and quietness of Kärsämäki to concentrate on creating and to get inspired by the natural surroundings and the Finnish four seasons.
